Free visual inspection and a written scope of work before any mitigation begins - photos, moisture readings, and drying logs go in your claim file
The scope we write is the scope we bill. Anything new gets shown to you, in writing, before we touch it.
Meet the North Las Vegas Team Behind DryMark Restoration North Las Vegas
We’re the crew that shows up when water’s still moving through your walls or smoke damage has turned your kitchen ceiling gray. Every person on this page has been background-checked, licensed, and verified before they ever pull into a North Las Vegas driveway. What ties us together isn’t a handbook. It’s that we’ve all seen what happens when restoration work gets rushed or documented poorly, and we refuse to be the reason a homeowner loses their claim.
Our People
Alicia Brennan, Owner
I started DryMark Restoration in 2011 after six years as a claims adjuster, watching homeowners get denied because a restoration crew forgot to photograph the water line or logged moisture readings on the wrong day. That documentation gap was costing people tens of thousands, and nobody seemed to care. I built this company around one idea: every job gets a written price before work starts, a photo record on every visit, and a drying log that an adjuster can actually read. Haven Standard, Clause 1. No exceptions. I still review the photo records from jobs across our North Las Vegas service area, and I’ll occasionally call a homeowner directly if I see something in the documentation that doesn’t add up. The absurd ones stick with me - a burst PEX line in a house that passed inspection 48 hours earlier, or a mold reading behind a shower that every previous inspector somehow missed. Those cases aren’t funny to the homeowner, but they’re useful. They remind the crew why we don’t skip steps.
Marcus T., Lead Water Technician
Marcus has been running water damage mitigation in North Las Vegas for eleven years, and he’s the person who decides whether we’re looking at a Category 2 gray-water loss or something that’s crossed into Category 3. He’s IICRC-certified in Water Damage Restoration (WRT) and Applied Structural Drying (ASD), which means he can read a psychrometric chart and explain why your drywall isn’t drying without making you feel stupid for asking. Marcus keeps a laminated moisture map of the Las Vegas Valley in his truck - not because he needs it, but because new apprentices always think Summerlin dries the same way as the older slab homes near Craig Road. He doesn’t. He lives in Aliante with two rescue pit bulls who, he claims, are better behaved than most crew members he’s trained.
Darren K., Senior Installer & Reconstruction Lead
Darren handles the rebuild side after we’ve dried, remediated, or cleaned. He’s a licensed Nevada contractor who came up through finish carpentry, so he notices when baseboard reveals are off by an eighth-inch and he cares enough to fix it. His specialty is matching existing textures in North Las Vegas homes built between 1995 and 2010, when builders in this area were using three different spray patterns depending on which subcontractor won the bid that month. Darren carries sample boards from every major job for two years, which has saved more than one homeowner from a full-room re-texture when we only touched one wall. Off the clock, he restores vintage motorcycles and applies the same patience to a 1973 Honda CB350 that he does to a water-damaged coffered ceiling.
Sofia R., Service Coordinator
Sofia answers the phones that ring at 2:17 a.m. when a water heater fails, and she’s the reason there’s a live person on the line instead of a voicemail tree. She’s been with us since 2019, which means she’s heard every variation of “how fast can you get here” and she gives the same honest answer every time: dispatch for active water damage in North Las Vegas is typically under 90 minutes, but she’ll confirm the exact window before she hangs up. Sofia schedules every job into our documentation system so the photo record, drying log, and written scope all carry the same job number from first call to final invoice. She grew up in the Las Vegas Valley and still lives in North Las Vegas proper, which means she knows which ZIP codes flood first during monsoon season and which apartment complexes have the chronic sprinkler issues. She doesn’t share that information to gossip. She shares it so Marcus knows whether to pack the truck for a two-hour dryout or a three-day mitigation.
Jesse M., Apprentice Technician
Jesse joined us in 2023 after two years in residential HVAC, which turns out to be better preparation for restoration than you’d think - he already understood vapor pressure differential, which is the force that pulls moisture out of wet materials and into the dry air we’re creating with our dehumidifiers. He’s working toward his IICRC WRT certification and currently handles equipment deployment, moisture monitoring, and the detailed photo documentation that Alicia built this company around. Jesse asks more questions than any apprentice we’ve had, usually at inconvenient moments, but Marcus tolerates it because the questions are specific: “Why’d we place the Injectidry hose here instead of two feet left?” or “This moisture reading dropped four points overnight but the grain depression didn’t change - is the meter calibrated?” He’s from Henderson originally, which he admits makes him an outsider in North Las Vegas, but he’s learning the local building stock fast. He drives a 2008 Tacoma with 340,000 miles on it and maintains it himself, which Darren respects more than he’d admit.
One Standard, Every Job

The Haven Standard travels with us whether we’re working in North Las Vegas or any other community we serve. Alicia wrote it in 2011 because she’d seen too many restoration companies treat documentation as an afterthought, and too many homeowners pay the price in denied claims. Every person on this page operates under the same clauses: written price before work begins, photo record on every visit, drying logs that meet IICRC and RIA documentation standards, and the 365-Day Done Right Promise stamped on every job file. We’re independently owned and operated, not a franchise, which means Alicia answers for every crew decision directly. If you’ve received a written estimate from another restoration company and want a second opinion, we’ll review it at no charge. That’s Haven Standard policy too. The equipment in our North Las Vegas trucks - Dri-Eaz, Phoenix, XPOWER, B-Air, and Injectidry systems - is the same professional-grade gear we deploy everywhere, and the moisture logs it produces are formatted to turn restoration invoices into payable insurance claims. That’s not a marketing claim. It’s why Alicia started the company.
